So a trend I’ve noticed have been all over social media lately is neon colors.
Personally, I think this whole trend started with the Louis Vuitton men’s show created by Virgil Abloh…. which I’ve first recently have discovered, I don’t know what happened but I must have been living under a rock at the time where this show was happening.
But that’s’ my mistake.
I’ve now watched the show and everything was absolutely amazing.
But, that doesn’t actually come as a surprise because Virgil Abloh is one hell of a genius.
And it seems like Kim Kardashian has been pretty much inspired from the show ever since… at least according to her outfit choice.
Kim and some of the Kardashian sisters have since the show been wearing neon colored outfits all over social media, and they are looking absolutely gorgeous if you ask me.
And since the Kardashians are some of the biggest influencers on social media right now, neon colors have now become a new hot trend to watch out for.
I have personally already bought a new neon green/yellow turtleneck, which I think works perfectly underneath something as basic as a classic trenchcoat while doing the fall season.
Hello dear reader,
So, recently my friend’s conversations have been all about Glossier, especially Ekua is a huge fan of all the Glossier products.
Personally, I think its hard not to fall in love with the brand and their wonderful products, Glossier have really managed to create a brand that contains super high-quality products that work! and a brand that speaks to every young woman of our time right now.
They are super trendy in the way they choose to promote their lovely products, by including their customers on social media and so on, and that something that really appeals to me personally.
They have managed to create a whole universe around their natural beauty products, which you can only have so much respect for.
All in all, the products are amazing, and the brand itself is what I think, is a super great example of how a business of this newer generation looks like.
I know that this has absolutely no relevance for you as a “random” reader who just stumbled across my little blog here.
But this is my blog so…. I decided the importance of every post here, okay? okay.
So currently, life is going on…as always.
We are all in the process of growing every day while learning more and more about ourselves, and the people, and places around us.
Personally, I’m stressed out…but in such a good way, that it almost feels like a nice rush to me. A bit dangerous, I know.
Which has resulted in, that I probably have to quit drinking coffee… because it’s really not healthy for me in the long row. Not right now at least.
But! that’s not my point, my point with this post is actually just to share my personal stage of excitement for life and all the love I have for all the great people that I’m so fucking blessed to have around me.
You see, I know that not all people are gonna be in our lives forever.
But as good friends, we just gotta accept that there is going to be periods of everyone’s lives where we are not gonna talk as much as we used to.
And that’s fine because there are only 24 hours per day and unfortunately none of us has superpowers, so we can’t do ALL the things we really wanna do or see ALL the people we really want to see, or at least not EVERYTHING at one and the same time.
That is something me and my brain can have a hard time dealing with from time to time.
But it’s okay I’ll get better with the age, I know.
So last but least.
A special thanks to my friends, for being such nice people with the greatest hearts I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet.
Remember that you are doing great, we are doing great because we got each other.
Please never stop smiling.
A very sleepy & grateful
(Btw the cute girl on the picture is my friend Amanda, she’s lovely, I hope she won’t get mad at me for not asking for her permission to use this picture of her)
Basically, I’m always wearing sneakers, but currently, I’m really trying to wear other types of shoes just to see how it feels like.
These are some of my favorite shoes that I almost never wear for some unknown reasons.
The shoes are from Zara if you were wondering.
Changing hair color, or getting my friend Anna to cut my hair while she’s been drinking red wine …. are not really a new thing to me.
The new thing is actually that I went to a professional this time!
I have dyed my hair for many years now, and I’ve been thinking about going back (or closer) to my natural hair color for such a long time.
But! It all happened very spontaneously.
First of all, I did not really plan to get my hair done … I was actually just going with my friend Nattha to a salon called Freund, where she was going to get her beautiful long hair cut into a bob and dyed ashy blond, her dream is to go even blonder which I am a huge supporter of… so Nattha, go blond or go home! you beautiful little piece of honey.
Nattha got her hair done by the most amazing hairdresser Kasper Andersen, who is now or favorite hairdresser of all time!
He is absolutely amazing at his job and such a sweet person.
So after I saw Nattha’s beautiful result, Kasper was so sweet to take his time to fix my hair too which I am so thankful for!
He basically made all of my hair dreams come true, with going back to my natural color and giving it a twist with cutting some cute bangs… which I’ve never thought would suit me, but I really like it!
All in all, we had a great evening with candy, beers and the sweetest hairdresser on earth.
I could write about how I think this is a perfect combination of something very dreamy and feminine, and something very sporty and masculine.
But it’s late and I have to wake up early tomorrow… and go to work.
You can buy the dress at H&M and the shoes at any footlocker store.
Last week my cousin and I went for a ride in her car and stopped at McDonald’s drive-in, simply just to get the best Coca-Cola in town and some fries.
After that we just drove around listening to music, taking pictures and making small videos, while catching up on both of our life situations.
Art is what I believe, one of the few things where there doesn’t have to be said much.
Because the way a piece can speak to me are never gonna be 100% similar to the way it can speak to you.
If you find it good, it’s good, that’s why I think that art should always speak for itself.
Because I feel like, by sharing my opinion about an exhibition maybe could disturb you in creating your 100% own opinion, and that would be a shame if you haven’t even seen the exhibitions yet.
So…that’s why I’m not gonna share any deeper thoughts of mine, about the Danh Vo exhibition at SMK
or my thoughts about some of the pieces we saw at Lousiana.
I can only recommend you to go observe the exhibitions.
Note to the “art group” : Thank you for the coziest day ever!
So I know that oversized clothing has been a thing in what feels like forever now.
And I love it!
But this jacket is maybe a little bit too big for me haha, it’s my dad’s old jacket from his young rebel days.
You see the thing is…I have lived my whole life (since I was 10 years old) alone, with my dad and a dog.
And I love my dad, he’s my best friend and even if he wasn’t my dad, he would still be my best friend.
But! for as long as I can remember, he has always dressed me in men’s wear since I was a kid, I remember going to school in camouflage trousers, black t-shirt, and converse…so, basically dressed like a mini Lara Croft, while the other girls were wearing basic blue jeans and pink tops.
So I was lucky!
So imagine how proud my dad’s face looks when he sees me in his giant jacket, and after all, if everything fails I can always move in and live inside of this jacket.
